Virtual Individual Therapy in British Columbia
Many of the people I work with have done a lot of thinking about their patterns and still feel stuck in them. If that sounds like you, you are in the right place. I offer virtual individual therapy for folks across British Columbia, combining somatic and relational approaches so that healing reaches your body and nervous system, not only your thoughts.
How I work
I am kind and gentle, and I also care about helping you move toward a more aligned way of living. When I notice misalignment, or when an old adaptive strategy is taking over, I will name it with care. I work collaboratively and I do not arrive with an agenda. I may hold ideas about where we could go deeper, or a sense of the north star we are moving toward, and we shape the path together. Many clients tell me they finally feel able to release and process what their bodies and hearts have been holding.
What we might work on
Anxiety and depression
I tend to see anxiety and depression as signals, not flaws. They are often shaped by life circumstances and early relational wounds that still live in the nervous system and body. We process what has been held there and build a new relationship with yourself.
Attachment wounds and relational trauma
None of us leave childhood unaffected. Together, we get curious about what may have been missing or misattuned early on, and how that still shapes your relationships and sense of safety today.
Nervous system regulation
We will learn how your nervous system responds when you are activated or shut down, and build practical tools to help you feel more grounded and present in daily life.
Chronic pain and endometriosis
Living with chronic pain or endometriosis affects far more than the body. I bring both clinical training and lived experience to support the emotional, relational, and identity impacts of chronic illness.
Highly sensitive people
If you have always felt like "too much" in a world that is not built for sensitivity, we will work on understanding this trait as a strength, setting boundaries that protect your energy, and building a life that honours who you are.
People-pleasing and adaptive strategies
Strategies like people-pleasing, over-functioning, or withdrawing usually began for good reasons. We explore what they have protected and help you reconnect with your own needs and voice. (Read more: On People-Pleasing)
Life transitions and self-doubt
During times of change or uncertainty, we work on reconnecting with your inner knowing so you can move forward with more clarity and trust in yourself.
The roots of substance use
Rather than focusing only on the substance use itself, we look at what sits underneath it, such as the pain, needs, or wounds it may be trying to soothe, so healing can happen at the root.

What sessions look like
I offer online therapy by video for folks across British Columbia. Sessions are 60 minutes and cost $180 per 60-minute session. The first step is a free 15-minute consultation, where we talk about what is bringing you in and see whether we feel like a good fit. There is no obligation to book afterward. Because we meet virtually, we can also use your own space as part of the work, finding what feels regulating or comforting so you can return to those resources between sessions.
Common Questions
-
This is entirely dependent upon what you’re coming in for, I typically suggest more frequent sessions in the beginning to get the ball rolling and then we have maintenance sessions for ongoing support.
-
Somatic therapy works with the body-mind-heart connection, not just the story of what happened. You can read more in my post, “What Is Somatic Therapy?”
-
The free consultation is meant for exactly this. Fit matters in therapy, and you are welcome to ask any questions before deciding.
-
Many of my clients find online therapy surprisingly comfortable. There is no commute, and you get to be in a space where you already feel at ease. We also use your own environment as part of the work, finding what feels regulating or comforting so you can return to those resources between sessions.

All you need is a private space, a reliable internet connection, and a device with a camera. Sessions are held by video, and I will send you everything you need after you book.
